In Belarus we have other superstitions . If black cat crossed your way it is bad luck .
Waik other the ladder it is bad luck . If you must go under the ladder , you can avoid bad luck by crossing you fingers . 
The worst is when someone breaks mirror - it brings bad luck . Mirror - reflactions of gods .
